{"id":10467,"date":"2023-05-24T08:53:40","date_gmt":"2023-05-24T08:53:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/warmuseum.brainserver.gr\/2023\/05\/24\/may-30-2023-event-for-the-premiere-of-the-film-the-philhellenes\/"},"modified":"2025-08-29T09:02:39","modified_gmt":"2025-08-29T09:02:39","slug":"may-30-2023-event-for-the-premiere-of-the-film-the-philhellenes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/warmuseum.brainserver.gr\/en\/2023\/05\/24\/may-30-2023-event-for-the-premiere-of-the-film-the-philhellenes\/","title":{"rendered":"May 30, 2023: Event for the premiere of the film &#8220;The Philhellenes&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eefshp.org\/en\/\"> Society for Hellenism and Philhellenism<\/a>, in collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/phmus.org\/en\/\">Philhellenism Museum<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/cityfestival.thisisathens.org\/en\/home\/\">Athens City Festival<\/a> by the City of Athens, is organizing an event aiming to include in the cultural map of the capital the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eefshp.org\/en\/the-society\/the-monument-of-philhellenes-in-athens\/\">Monument of Philhellenes<\/a>, which will be placed in the heart of Athens, at Vasilissis Sofias Avenue, in front of the War Museum.<\/p>\n<p>The event will take place on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 19:30, at the War Museum&#8217;s &#8220;Ioannis Kapodistrias&#8221; central Hall, where the new film &#8220;The Philhellenes&#8221; will be screened.<\/p>\n<p>The film is a 35-minute dramatized documentary on the Philhellenic movement from the Renaissance to the liberation of Greece, and the role of the Philhellenes in the Greek state&#8217;s independence.
